Lead - Supply Chain Management

About the Role: GeoVista Technologies is looking for an experienced SCM Team Lead to manage procurement, vendor management, purchase orders, invoice coordination, and supply chain activities for our multiple projects across India.

The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, procurement, negotiations, order management, and timely supply of materials/services to project locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and purchase activities.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new vendors.
• Manage vendor induction, documentation, and the vendor database.
• Develop and maintain vendors across different project locations.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
• Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials/services.
• Manage vendor invoices and approval coordination with Finance.
• Resolve vendor payment, delivery and service-related issues.
• Develop local vendors for project requirements.
• Coordinate procurement for survey equipment, DGPS, OTDR, telecom materials, vehicles,
• accommodation, field requirements, PPE and other project consumables.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Teams, Finance and Administration.
• Monitor project-wise procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain vendor, PO, invoice and procurement MIS.
• Monitor vendor performance based on cost, quality, delivery and service.
• Lead and guide the SCM/Procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.

• Experience in PO, quotation, invoice and payment processes.
• Experience handling multi-location/project-based procurement.

• Strong MS Excel and MIS knowledge.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team handling and leadership skills.

Qualification

• MBA / PGDM – Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Procurement or related specialization.
• SCM / Procurement certification preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.

Software / System Knowledge

• ERP / Procurement systems
• Tally / Tally ERP
• MS Excel & MIS Reporting
• Vendor Master, PO, Invoice and Goods Received Note (GRN)/Service Confirmation processes.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in Geospatial, GIS, Survey, Telecom, Infrastructure, Construction or other project-based industries will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate

A commercially strong and organized SCM professional who can independently manage vendors, procurement and project requirements across multiple locations, while leading the SCM team and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
