Lead Software Engineer - Java8, Spring, REST API, Microservices

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to develop, enhance and maintain code while building back-end microservices and REST APIs for impactful projects. Responsibilities Develop, enhance and maintain code Build back-end microservices and REST APIs Conduct unit testing Perform code reviews Follow best practices including code review, unit testing and continuous integration Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 8 to 12 years of development work experience Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework and Kafka Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices architecture and WebLogic Nice to have Master's degree in Computer Science Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management Knowledge of additional programming languages Familiarity with cloud technologies Understanding of agile development methodologies
