Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer with a solid background in Java applications, Microservices, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have started their career in Java development and evolved into application support, production operations, and platform reliability roles.

This position will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications running in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 production support for Java and Microservices-based applications.

Monitor application health, performance, and availability.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

Support application deployments and release activities.

Work closely with development teams to resolve application defects and performance issues.

Manage incident, problem, and change management activities.

Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Monitor logs, alerts, and system metrics to proactively identify issues.

Participate in on-call support and production escalation activities.

Required Skills

Production Support

Robust experience in Application Production Support (L2/L3).

Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing tools.

SLA and KPI management.

Java & Microservices

Robust understanding of Java applications.

Experience supporting Spring Boot and Microservices environments.

Understanding of REST APIs and application integrations.

Ability to analyze application logs and troubleshoot code-related issues.

DevOps & Deployment

Experience with Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
