Lead Application Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly hands-on Senior App Engineer to own the development of a consumer-facing mobile application end-to-end. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to shape the app architecture, build scalable features, ensure smooth releases, and drive overall technical execution.

This is an individual contributor role initially, with an opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role as the team scales.

What We're Looking For

• 4–6 years of experience in mobile/application development.
• Strong experience building and scaling consumer-facing apps with a large user base.
• Experience at consumer-tech companies or similar product companies is highly relevant.
• Flutter is preferred but not mandatory — strong mobile engineering fundamentals are more important.
• Strong understanding of app architecture, development, performance, debugging, deployment, and production operations.
• Ability to independently own features and technical execution end-to-end.
• Strong hands-on coding skills with a product-oriented mindset.
• Experience working on apps where scale, reliability, performance, and user experience are critical.
• Ability to work closely with Product and Engineering teams and make sound technical decisions.
• Potential and interest to grow into a technical/engineering leadership role.

Preferred Background

• Consumer/B2C product experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in large-scale consumer applications will be prioritized.
• B2B-only application experience is less preferred, given the difference in scale, user-facing complexity, and product experience.
• College pedigree is not a mandatory criterion; practical engineering experience and product impact matter more.
