Junior Software Tester / QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, a keen eye for bugs, and the ability to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards before release. Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases and test plans
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using free and paid bug tracking tools according to requirements
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing after deployments
• Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning meetings
• Maintain and update test documentation and QA reports
• Assist in exploring basic automation testing where applicable
• Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements before release

Requirements

• 2 to 2.5 years of hands-on experience in software testing / QA
• Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case writing
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools like JIRA
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
