Junior Site Reliability Engineer (Hybrid)

This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

This role is ideal for engineers who are interested in cloud-native technologies, system reliability,

monitoring, and performance of distributed cloud-based applications.

Support monitoring and reliability efforts for HPE Networking SASE products

Analysing data from monitoring tools to identify trends and potential issues

Support maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications to ensure high

availability of cloud based applications

Participate in on-call rotations

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

0–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles (including internships)

Monitoring tools (Grafana / Prometheus / Datadog)

Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Containers and Kubernetes

Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS,

Willingness to work in night shifts / on-call environment

Exposure to scripting (Python / Shell)

Familiarity with Linux systems

Curiosity to learn distributed systems and cloud architectures

Interest in automation and reliability engineering
