Junior Recruiter

Job Summary: We are seeking a tech-savvy and dynamic Junior IT Recruiter to join our growing talent acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates into various Information Technology roles.

As someone with an IT background and early exposure to recruitment, you will leverage your technical knowledge to evaluate complex tech resumes and communicate effectively with software professionals. Candidates who also possess a teaching or training background are highly preferred, as this experience translates perfectly into mentoring applicants, explaining technical job scopes, and conducting smooth candidate inductions.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Pipeline Management: Identify qualified IT professionals through job boards, LinkedIn, technical communities, and internal databases
• Technical Screening: Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' technical competencies, coding familiarity, and cultural fit.
• End-to-End Coordination: Schedule technical interviews between candidates and engineering managers, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
• Relationship Building: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, guiding them through the interview lifecycle and providing timely feedback.
• Database Management: Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) regularly updated with high-quality candidate pipelines

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3-6 months of active experience in a recruitment role focusing on candidate placement.
• Educational Background: A degree or formal diploma in an Information Technology field (e.g., BCA, B.Sc. IT, B.Tech/BE in CS/IT) or equivalent foundational tech literacy.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to understand technical skills, tech stacks, and tech job roles (e.g., Java, Python, Cloud, DevOps, Frontend/Backend development).
• Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a natural flair for networking and engagement

Preferred/Added Advantage

• Prior experience in teaching, academic tutoring, or corporate training is a significant plus.
• Excellent presentation skills and a passion for mentoring or guiding individuals through their career choices

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

• J P Nagar 6th Phase, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
