Junior Python Developer

Role Overview As a Python Developer – you will develop Python-based applications, data-processing pipelines and AI/ML solutions that work with real-time and historical industrial data. You will collaborate with software, IoT, embedded and engineering teams to convert machine and sensor data into meaningful insights and actionable intelligence. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain and optimize Python-based applications, services and data-processing pipelines. • Work with industrial IoT data collected from sensors, machines, PLCs, gateways and other connected devices. • Develop data preprocessing, feature engineering and analytics pipelines for industrial datasets. • Build and integrate Machine Learning models for applications such as anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, equipment health monitoring and trend analysis. • Perform data analysis, visualization and statistical evaluation to identify patterns and operational insights. • Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django. • Work with databases and time-series data for storing and processing sensor and machine data. • Collaborate with IoT, embedded, cloud and frontend teams for end-to-end solution development. • Debug, test and optimize applications for reliability, scalability and performance. • Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code. • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews and solution development for industrial use cases. Required Skills • 2+ years of professional experience in Python development. • Strong programming knowledge in Python and object-oriented programming. • Good understanding of NumPy, Pandas and data processing. • Working knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms. • Experience with libraries/frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch. • Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training and evaluation. • Experience with REST APIs and backend development. • Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts. • Familiarity with Git/version control. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Ability to work with large datasets and convert raw data into meaningful insights. Good to Have • Experience working with IoT, industrial automation or sensor data. • Exposure to time-series data and time-series forecasting. • Knowledge of anomaly detection and predictive maintenance techniques. • Experience with Docker and Linux. • Familiarity with MQTT, Modbus or other industrial/IoT communication protocols. • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP. • Knowledge of data visualization tools or frameworks. • Understanding of Edge AI/ML • Experience with integrating APIs is an added advantage. Education Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, Engineering or a related field. Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
