Junior Mobile Application Tester - Manual Testing

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Mobile Application Tester to support quality assurance for our Android and iOS applications. You will execute test cases, log defects, and work closely with developers and senior testers to help ship reliable, high-quality apps.

Qualifications

• Experience : 1 to 3 years in software/mobile application testing.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Testing : Understanding of manual testing fundamentals functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Tools : Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar) and basic API testing tools (Postman).
• Automation : Exposure to automation concepts or tools (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) is a plus.
• Devices : Basic understanding of testing across different Android/iOS devices and OS versions.
• Soft Skills : Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, teamwork, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and execute manual test cases for assigned features on Android and/or iOS.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across devices.
• Log clear, reproducible defects and track them through resolution.
• Support API testing using tools like Postman.
• Collaborate with developers and senior testers to verify bug fixes.
• Assist in preparing test data and maintaining test documentation.
• Participate in learning automation testing basics under senior guidance.
• Report testing progress and results to the QA lead.
