Junior Data Engineer Coimbatore (India)

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data from various sources.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Help in building and optimizing data models and databases for performance and scalability.

Contribute to the development of data integration strategies and solutions to enable seamless data flow across different systems and platforms.

Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline issues to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and contribute ideas for process improvement and innovation.

Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Solid programming skills in Python for data manipulation and scripting tasks.

Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and platforms, particularly Snowflake.

Basic understanding of distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Solid communication and collaboration skills.
