We're Hiring: Junior Cybersecurity Analyst | 1–2 Years | Chennai

iTech India is looking for a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and security monitoring tools

Investigate suspicious activities and potential security incidents

Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation

Monitor endpoint, network, and email security

Review system logs and identify potential threats

Support incident response and security documentation

Assist with security awareness and compliance activities

What We’re Looking For

Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts

Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and Firewalls

Familiarity with Windows and Linux

Understanding of SIEM, EDR, Antivirus, and Vulnerability Scanners

Knowledge of phishing, malware, ransomware, and common attack vectors

Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is a plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field

1–2 years of experience in SOC or Cybersecurity

Security+, CEH, SC-900, AZ-900, or Google Cybersecurity Certificate will be an advantage

Location: Chennai
