Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Junior Accounts Assistant to handle client accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance activities. The candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain client books of accounts using Tally Prime.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile GST data.
• Handle TDS computation, payments, and return filing.
• Prepare Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
• Assist with ROC filings and statutory compliance.
• Support payroll processing, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax compliance.
• Prepare financial statements and MIS reports.
• Assist with statutory audits and tax audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and meet compliance deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients and senior team members to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, or an equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Practical experience in GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial statements.
• Familiarity with ROC filings and statutory compliance.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with clients.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a CA firm, accounting firm, or taxation consultancy will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
