Jr Software Engineer

Delaplex is hiring a Junior Software Engineer in Nagpur to develop and maintain modern web applications across frontend and backend technologies. The role involves building React.js interfaces, developing Python-based APIs and services, working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and contributing to AI-powered features using Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Build responsive user interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Python
• Design, develop and optimize PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases
• Build AI-powered features using Prompt Engineering and RAG
• Integrate applications with third-party APIs and enterprise systems
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
• Debug software issues and participate in performance optimization
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers and senior developers
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews and retrospectives
• Continuously learn emerging technologies and software engineering practices

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of software development experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Hands-on programming experience with React.js
• Hands-on programming experience with Python, Django and FastAPI
• Familiarity with MySQL or NoSQL databases
• Good understanding of programming fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving and logical-thinking skills
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the development team
