Job Description & Responsibilities

Compliance Testing &

Verification

  • Execute regulatory compliance verification for solar

plants, substations, EV charging infrastructure, and industrial installations

per CEA, MNRE, CEIG, and client requirements.

  • Prepare and execute comprehensive pre-commissioning and

commissioning test procedures.

  • Verify installation compliance against approved

drawings, specifications, and statutory regulations.

  • Prepare compliance test packs, test certificates, and

statutory inspection reports for regulatory submission.

  • Liaise with CEIG, DISCOM, and utility inspection

officers during official inspections.

Audit & Documentation

  • Conduct compliance audits of installed systems against

design documentation and regulatory checklists.

  • Identify, document, and risk-rate non-compliances;

prepare NCR packs for contractor rectification.

  • Maintain complete compliance evidence files for each

project including test certificates, calibration records, and statutory

approvals.

Safety & Quality

  • Apply and verify safety compliance (LOTO, PTW, PPE,

fire protection) at all sites.

  • Maintain all field compliance records per ETPL ISO

9001:2015 QMS.

Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
  • 3–6 years of experience in technical compliance verification, regulatory testing, commissioning, or audit activities in Power, Renewable Energy, Substation, EV Infrastructure, or Industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of CEA Regulations, MNRE Guidelines, CEIG Requirements, IEC 62446, and IEC 60364.
  • Experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, compliance testing, and statutory inspections.
  • Ability to verify installations against approved drawings, technical specifications, and regulatory standards.
  • Experience in preparing compliance test packs, test certificates, audit reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Familiarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Permit-to-Work (PTW), PPE requirements, and site safety practices.
  • Good understanding of quality management systems, preferably ISO 9001:2015.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%+) to project sites across India.
