Java Software Engineer

Role Description As a Java Software Engineer at SolarSys Innovations Private Ltd, you will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications that support digital transformation initiatives for clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement features using the Spring Framework and related technologies, and build scalable microservices and APIs. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, performing code reviews, debugging and resolving issues, and participating in testing and deployment activities. You will also collaborate on architecture discussions, contribute to technical documentation, and continuously improve application performance and reliability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Programming and Software Development, with experience in building and maintaining enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework, including core Spring modules and common libraries used in modern Java applications.
• Experience designing and implementing Microservices and RESTful APIs, with an understanding of scalability, security, and performance considerations.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in on-site teams, communicate clearly, and participate in agile development processes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or related tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to innovative digital solutions for diverse client environments.
