Role Description This full-time Java Developer (Fintech) role is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain fintech applications using Java and related frameworks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing and integrating microservices, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists. The role involves troubleshooting production issues, optimizing application performance, and contributing to architectural decisions aligned with fintech regulatory and security requirements. The developer will also participate in agile ceremonies, maintain technical documentation, and support continuous improvement of development practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Java and core Programming concepts.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Software Development, including designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Microservices architecture, including building, integrating, and maintaining distributed services.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC) for enterprise and fintech solutions.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and version control systems (such as Git) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with fintech domain requirements, including security, compliance, and transaction processing, is an advantage.
• Ability to work in agile teams, communicate effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
