Java Backend Developer – Noida 3–6 Years

We are hiring a strong Java Backend Developer for a fintech product environment in Noida. The role is suited for engineers who have worked on production-grade backend systems and are comfortable with microservices, concurrency, messaging, transactions, and performance-sensitive applications.

What you’ll work on

You will design, develop, debug, and enhance backend services handling transactional and high-volume workloads. The role involves building scalable Java services, integrating with internal and external systems, improving system reliability, and solving production issues involving concurrency, transactions, latency, and failures.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+
• Strong understanding of Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading and Concurrency
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and REST APIs
• Experience developing Microservices
• Production experience with at least one messaging technology such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, SQS or equivalent
• Strong understanding of SQL, database transactions and query optimisation
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA
• Understanding of transaction management, locking, retries, idempotency and failure handling
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices
• Good Communication Skills

Who will fit well

We are particularly interested in engineers who have personally built and supported backend systems in production, rather than candidates whose experience is primarily frontend or basic CRUD development.

Screening Criteria

Applicants should ideally have

• 3–6 years of relevant Java backend experience
• Production experience with Java + Spring Boot + Microservices
• Hands-on exposure to messaging/event-driven processing
• Hands-on exposure to multithreading/concurrency
• Experience with transaction-sensitive backend systems
• Ability to work from office in Noida
• Notice period preferably 0–30 days; up to 60 days may be considered
