Java AWS Developer (6 to 9 yrs of exp)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java AWS Developer with 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
• Build and deploy scalable microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Automate CI/CD processes and support DevOps initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture and RESTful Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Services such as:
• EC2
• S3
• Lambda
• RDS
• ECS/EKS
• API Gateway
• CloudWatch
• IAM
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in SQL databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices and cloud architecture patterns.
• AWS Certification is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in Java development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite collaborative environment.
