International Opportunity - Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee financial accounting, reporting, controls, budgeting, and compliance for an engineering/MEP business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS.
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Monitor project-wise financial performance, costs, margins, and cash flows.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure proper accounting controls and compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor receivables, payables, working capital, and cash flow.
• Review project costing, revenue recognition, and financial performance.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of management reports.
• Support management in financial analysis and business decision-making.
• Lead and guide the finance/accounting team.

Candidate Requirements

• CA qualification is mandatory.
• 5 + years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Candidates from MEP, Engineering, EPC, Construction, or related project-based industries preferred.
• Strong experience in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial controls.
• Good understanding of project accounting and cost management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in an international/project environment.
