Interior Production Manager

Role Description The Interior Production Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a mix of on-site coordination at production and project locations and some work-from-home flexibility for planning and documentation tasks. This role oversees end-to-end production activities for doors, interiors, and related fittings, ensuring that projects are executed to specification, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning production schedules, supervising workshop and site teams, coordinating with procurement for materials, and monitoring quality standards throughout fabrication and installation. The Interior Production Manager will also maintain clear communication with design, sales, and project management teams, troubleshoot production issues, optimize workflows, and implement safety and compliance procedures. The role involves regular reporting on production status, resource utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives across processes and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in production management or operations within interiors, furniture, carpentry, or building products.
• Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent interior projects.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes relevant to doors and interior fit-outs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications, and translate them into production plans.
• Proficiency with basic production/ERP tools, spreadsheets, and documentation for tracking orders and workflows.
• Demonstrated capability in team leadership, supervision of shop-floor and site personnel, and stakeholder coordination.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality control, safety standards, and timely delivery.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle on-site challenges and client expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Production, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in Bengaluru interiors or door manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
