Plant HR Manager

Role Summary
The Plant HR Manager will be responsible for driving organization-wide HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with labour regulations, strengthening talent acquisition strategies, managing performance and appraisal systems, and supporting business leadership through effective HR governance and reporting. The role will work closely with plant and functional heads to ensure alignment between business objectives and people's practices.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
- Support and guide plant HR teams in maintaining healthy industrial relations across the organization.
- Monitor employee relations matters and ensure timely resolution of grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Facilitate effective communication between management and employees to maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist leadership in implementing employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, company policies, and internal HR procedures.
- Monitor compliance-related documentation and coordinate audits as required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Review and strengthen HR processes to minimize compliance risks.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead recruitment activities for corporate and critical business positions.
- Partner with department heads to understand manpower requirements and workforce planning needs.
- Drive sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, interview coordination, and onboarding processes.
- Support employer branding initiatives to attract quality talent.
Performance & Appraisal Management
- Manage the annual performance appraisal process across the organization.
- Coordinate goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development discussions.
- Work with business leaders to ensure fair and effective performance management practices.
- Generate performance-related reports and provide insights for management review.
HR MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual HR MIS reports.
- Analyse HR metrics including headcount, attrition, recruitment status, absenteeism, and employee movement.
- Present HR dashboards and reports to senior management for decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data and HR records.
Management Coordination
- Act as an HR business partner to senior leadership and department heads.
- Support organizational initiatives and strategic HR projects.
- Participate in management reviews and provide HR-related recommendations.
Candidate Profile
- Female Candidate Preferred
- Minimum 10 Years of Experience in Human Resources
- Strong exposure to Industrial Relations, Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and HR Reporting
- Experience in Manufacturing/Automotive Industry preferred
- Age: Around 35 Years
