HR Manager – People & Culture

🚀 We're hiring an HR Manager – People & Culture to own and build our entire HR function!

RMPS & Co., Chartered Accountants, is a tech-enabled CA firm in Satellite, Ahmedabad. For 15+ years we've served growing businesses across CFO services, advisory, audit, tax, valuation and SME IPOs. We're scaling our team, and our goal is 100+ professionals by 2030. We're looking for a hands-on HR leader to take full charge of people management and build our HR foundation from the ground up.

What you'll own

Talent acquisition

• End-to-end hiring for CA, finance, advisory and support roles
• A strong talent pipeline through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals and CA/campus networks
• Employer branding and hiring partnerships

HR policies and systems

• Design and roll out HR policies, the employee handbook, and leave, attendance and code-of-conduct rules
• Set up HR processes, documentation and an HRMS or digital HR tools

Onboarding and development

• Structured onboarding, induction and 90-day plans
• Training calendars, learning programmes and CA articleship coordination

Performance and rewards

• KRAs, goal-setting and performance review cycles
• Appraisals, compensation benchmarking and incentive structures

Employee relations and culture

• Employee engagement, retention and a positive workplace culture
• Grievance handling, exit management and employee well-being

HR operations and compliance

• Payroll inputs, PF, ESI, gratuity and labour law compliance
• HR records, MIS and monthly people reports for the Managing Partner

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years in HR with broad, generalist exposure, preferably at a Big 4 or a professional services or consulting firm
• MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent
• Proven recruitment experience, ideally hiring CAs and finance professionals
• Hands-on experience drafting HR policies and setting up processes
• Working knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance
• An ownership mindset: comfortable working as a one-person HR team who builds systems
• Strong communication, people skills and confidence with MS Excel and HR tools
