Hiring Lead Devops Engineer for a Leading Fintech Company

Responsibilities

As a DevOps / Cloud engineer, your duties will involve building out and supporting our infrastructure in APAC region, as well as providing emergency after hours support for our US infrastructure during India business hours. Your duties will include (but not limited to)

• Setting up CI/CD pipelines,
• Provisioning infrastructure such a cache, message queues/brokers, and databases using Terraform and AWS, occasionally developing small applications to support our infrastructure,
• Containerizing applications using Docker across our stack of languages (Java, GoLang, Python, PHP, and NodeJS),
• Creating and maintaining our fleet of Kubernetes clusters,
• Linux administration and troubleshooting,
• Managing security policies on our AWS accounts,
• Functioning as a cloud solutions architects for our devs, creating and deploying custom solutions for proof-of-concept and prototype work,
• Setting up logging and alerting in Datadog

• K8S/EKS
• Jenkins/Groovy
• Terraform
• Docker

• Bash Scripting
• Infrastructure/Systems Design
• Basic AWS Services (RDS, Elasticache, IAM, EC2, S3, ALB, VPC, etc)

Required Generalist Knowledge

• MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL and MongoDB
• Redis/Elasticache/MemoryDB
• RabbitMQ
• Python/GoLang (for scripting and/or gluing the occasional implementation)
• Bonus points:
• Experience at a Trading or FinTech firm
• GCP/Azure Experience
• AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Certification
• Datadog
• Sentry
• Jenkins

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or related qualification
• 5+ Years of DevOps / Software Engineering / Cloud Experience
