Hiring | Executive Imports | Vapi, Gujarat | Chemical Procurement & International Sourcing**

#### Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma in Imports / Any Graduate.

2 to 5 years of experience in Import Procurement, Sourcing, or Purchase.

Experience in procurement of chemicals and domestic/international sourcing of materials.

Knowledge of import procedures, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and logistics coordination.

Understanding of DGFT regulations, IEC requirements, and import documentation.

Experience in handling PO, RFQs, supplier quotations, contract management, and vendor development.

Knowledge of supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.

Knowledge of ERP systems, Advanced Excel, and MIS reporting.

Understanding of GST, import duties, freight costing, and landed cost calculation.

Strong negotiation, commercial, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.

#### Job Responsibilities

Plan and monitor material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts.

Ensure timely procurement of raw materials for uninterrupted production.

Prepare and release purchase orders as per procurement procedures.

Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers for timely deliveries.

Manage import deliveries and review import documentation.

Coordinate with CHA, logistics partners, and freight forwarders.

Monitor inventory levels and track critical shortages.

Develop alternate suppliers and evaluate supplier performance.

Negotiate price, lead time, quality, and commercial terms.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO documentation, and import/export regulations.
