Role Description The Healthcare Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at VVITU in Ongole. This role involves providing frontline healthcare support to students, faculty, and staff, including basic medical assessment, first aid, and emergency response coordination. The Healthcare Specialist will maintain health records, support campus wellness initiatives, and collaborate with external medical providers when needed. Daily responsibilities include educating the campus community on health and safety practices, assisting with health-related training programs, and ensuring compliance with institutional health policies and protocols.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competence in EMT or comparable emergency medical care skills.
• Strong communication abilities for interacting with diverse campus stakeholders.
• Foundational knowledge in medicine and general healthcare practices.
• Experience in delivering health-related training, awareness sessions, or workshops.
• Relevant certification or licensure in healthcare or emergency medical services.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent or high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational skills for managing records, appointments, and health programs.
• Prior experience in a university, school, or community healthcare setting is an advantage.
