Job Description & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • End-to-End Talent Sourcing & Mapping

Proactively source high-caliber medical professionals (e.g., Super-Specialist Doctors, Consultants, Senior Academic Faculty, Nursing Leaders, and Healthcare Administrators).

Utilize diverse channels including healthcare-specific job portals, LinkedIn, medical directories, alumni networks, and professional headhunting.

Cold-call and engage passive candidates who are not actively looking but fit client requirements.

Maintain and update an agile pipeline/database of healthcare professionals.

  • Screening & Credential Verification

Screen resumes rigorously to match exact client specifications regarding qualifications (e.g., MD, MS, DM, MCh, DNB) and experience.

Conduct initial telephonic/virtual interviews to assess candidate expectations, notice periods, and relocation willingness.

Perform preliminary credential checks, ensuring medical registrations, certifications, and licenses are valid and compliant with healthcare regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field. (A background or understanding of science/pharmaceuticals is a plus).

Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of recruitment experience, ideally with a focus on healthcare, medical, or pharma sectors within an agency/consultancy setup.

Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of medical terminology, healthcare job hierarchies, and specialized medical qualifications.

Sourcing Prowess: Proven track record of headhunting and closing niche or senior positions under tight deadlines.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse professionally with senior doctors and hospital leadership.

Negotiation Skills: Excellent persuasion and offer-negotiation capabilities to manage the high drop-out risks typical in the medical sector.

Tools: Tech-savvy with hands-on experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, and advanced LinkedIn Boolean search strings.
