Head of Finance

Experience Required: 15-20 years in finance leadership, preferably in manufacturing/engineering industries

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Head to lead the financial strategy and operations of our sheet metal manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in cost management, financial planning, compliance, and strategic decision-making to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, raw material procurement, and inventory valuation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxation, and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions, investments, and expansion plans.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to optimize cost efficiency.
• Oversee audits, risk management, and internal controls.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
• 15-20 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and ERP systems.
• Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in sheet metal or heavy engineering industries.
• Familiarity with GST, excise, and other manufacturing-related tax frameworks.
• Ability to drive digital transformation in finance processes.
