Experience Required: 12 - 15 years

Responsible for the installation of medical equipments. Rectify and reduce the breakdown time of medical equipments. Co-ordinate with vendors / company for the spare parts and preventive maintenance schedules. Inventory/ Assets management of medical equipment in the hospital.

Lead the Biomedical Engineering function and ensure efficient management of all medical equipment across the hospital.

Plan and manage preventive and breakdown maintenance, calibration, and timely servicing of medical equipment.

Ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability and patient safety.

Manage AMC/CMC, warranty, service contracts and vendor performance.

Coordinate installation, commissioning and validation in consultation with clinical and user departments.

Prepare and monitor the Biomedical CAPEX and OPEX budget.

Ensure compliance with applicable NABH/JCI, AERB and other statutory/regulatory requirements related to biomedical equipment.

Maintain accurate equipment inventory, asset records, service history and maintenance documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Solid knowledge of medical equipment standards and safety protocols.

Familiarity with NABH/JCI compliance.

Proficient in MS Office, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Education

UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical

PG: M.Tech in Any Specialization, MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization
