Role: Google Tag Manager (GTM) Specialist

Experience – 10+ years

Location – Bangalore - 4 days WFO

Immediate Joiners Only

• Own end-to-end tracking architecture and implementation across digital platforms using Google Tag Manager (client- and server-side), with accountability for data quality and scalability.
• Partner with developers and product teams to design and deploy scalable data layer architectures across web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs).
• Translate complex business and analytics requirements into detailed technical tracking specifications aligned to GA4 and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) migration.
• Independently build advanced tracking logic (e.g., regex, custom JavaScript) for event instrumentation, data standardization, and audience segmentation.
• Proactively monitor, audit, and troubleshoot implementations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across tools and platforms.
• Provide technical consultation and best practices on tagging strategy, measurement design, and governance to stakeholders and product teams (e.g., Quiz experience, Merge, Spur).
• Collaborate with Publicis Sapient PODs to support pixel deployment, experimentation tracking, and new feature instrumentation. **includes the way in which current Sapient teams engage Brandie (ie, Quiz example) and may include work from external vendor partners (Merge - NM, Spur - WM) for consulting purposes only

Secondary (as capacity allows)

• Establish and execute QA frameworks (manual and automated) for tracking validation, including GTM Preview, debugging tools, and structured test plans.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to tag execution, data layer design, and integrations with GA4 and CJA.
• Create and maintain documentation, governance standards, and implementation playbooks to enable consistency and scale across teams.
