Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer | Remote | 3+ yrs.

• Proven experience as a GCP Engineer or in a similar role.
• Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Proficiency in implementing and managing Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Cloud Storage, and other relevant services.
• Experience with GCP networking concepts, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Load Balancer, and Cloud CDN.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), security best practices, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools in GCP (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have:

• GCP certifications, such as Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises integrations.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of serverless computing and Google Cloud Functions.
