Job Description: Senior GoLang Backend Developer Location: Bangalore Experience Range- 5-8 Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GoLang Backend Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, cloud-native backend services on AWS. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Go (GoLang), microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native application development. This role requires hands-on experience in building secure, high-performance distributed systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks, cloud infrastructure, containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices. Experience with frontend technologies is a plus. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Go (GoLang). Develop and enhance secure RESTful APIs for enterprise applications. Build cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services. Design and implement microservices and event-driven architectures for distributed systems. Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect. Work with relational and NoSQL databases, implementing efficient data models and ORM frameworks. Build, deploy, and manage applications using containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI. Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. Required Skills & Experience Programming Strong proficiency in Go (GoLang). Solid understanding of concurrent programming and Go routines. Cloud Technologies Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services, including: EC2 AWS Lambda IAM VPC S3 CloudWatch (preferred) AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) (good to have) Backend Development Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs API design and versioning best practices Backend system integration Security JWT (JSON Web Token) OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect (OIDC) SSL/TLS Certificates Secure API authentication and authorization Database Technologies Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases Database design and optimization Experience with ORM frameworks Microservices Microservices architecture Event-driven architecture Service-to-service communication Asynchronous messaging concepts DevOps & Containerization Docker Kubernetes GitLab CI/CD Version control using Git Good to Have AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) AWS CloudWatch Frontend development experience (React, Angular, or Vue.js) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) Message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS/SNS Monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 5–8 years of experience in backend software development. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on backend engineer with deep expertise in GoLang, AWS, and microservices, capable of building secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud applications. Experience in authentication frameworks, CI/CD, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure is essential, while frontend exposure is considered an added advantage.
