Role Description The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Alwar. The General Manager oversees daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring smooth functioning and high guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing budgets, monitoring occupancy and revenue, implementing cost controls, and overseeing vendor relationships. The role involves leading and coaching staff, setting performance standards, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements. The General Manager also handles key guest issues, develops local marketing initiatives, and works with ownership to plan and execute strategies for growth and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management abilities, with experience supervising and developing diverse teams.
• Proven skills in hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and facility management.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to manage guest relations, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high service standards.
• Experience implementing operational procedures, quality checks, and safety and hygiene protocols.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems and basic computer skills (MS Office, email, reporting tools).
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field; substantial relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality management role, preferably as a General Manager or Department Head.
• Ability to work on-site in Alwar, with flexibility to manage peak hours, weekends, and holidays as operations require.
