About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Platform Engineer to join our growing AI-driven organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the robust cloud infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge AI models and data pipelines. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a passion for building scalable, secure, and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage scalable infrastructure on GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager).

Optimize and maintain GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters for high-performance AI workloads.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build) to automate software delivery and infrastructure updates.

Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to support MLOps workflows and model deployment strategies.

Ensure platform security, compliance, and reliability through robust IAM policies, VPC networking, and proactive monitoring (Cloud Monitoring/Logging).

Manage cloud costs and performance, identifying opportunities for architectural optimization and resource rightsizing.

Required Qualifications

Total Experience: Minimum of 5 years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

Relevant Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

Kubernetes Expertise: Strong proficiency in managing containerized workloads using GKE and Docker.

Automation: Expert-level knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.

Networking & Security: Deep understanding of GCP VPCs, Firewalls, Load Balancing, and Shared VPC architectures.

Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and internal tooling.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AI/ML specific GCP services such as Vertex AI or BigQuery ML.

Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Dataflow.

GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Google Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.

Pay: ₹1,691,000.00 - ₹2,900,000.00 per year
