Job Requirements

GCP Engineer

• Design and implement GCP cloud architecture and infrastructure to support business-critical applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Manage and optimize compute, networking, and storage resources using GCP services such as GCE, GKE, VPC, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Stackdriver, Prometheus, or equivalent.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards by implementing IAM policies, VPC Service Controls, and encryption.
• Lead migration efforts of legacy systems to GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cloud best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues across multiple cloud services.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of GCP core services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, IAM, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, Load Balancers, VPN).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
