GCP Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a GCP Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data workflows. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to provide them with the necessary data infrastructure to support their analytics and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
• Utilize tools like Airflow for orchestrating data workflows and ensuring timely data delivery.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects to ensure smooth deployment and integration.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services.
• Proficiency in BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architecture.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data engineering.
