Fund Manager – Mid Cap / Multi Cap / Flexi Cap

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Fund Manager to lead and drive the performance of Mid Cap, Multi Cap, and Flexi Cap equity strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in equity research, portfolio management, and alpha generation through bottom-up stock selection.

This role requires deep expertise in the Indian equity markets, a disciplined investment approach, and hands-on experience in managing or co-managing diversified equity portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Mid Cap, Multi Cap, and/or Flexi Cap equity portfolios.
• Generate investment ideas through in-depth fundamental research and company analysis.
• Construct and manage portfolios in line with the fund's investment mandate and risk framework.
• Generate alpha through stock selection and sector allocation.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, valuation, earnings forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend timely investment decisions.
• Meet company management teams, industry experts, and analysts to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Track macroeconomic trends, sector developments, and market dynamics impacting portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, internal investment policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the research team to strengthen investment insights and portfolio outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 7–10 years in Equity Research, Portfolio Management, or Fund Management.
• Prior experience managing or co-managing Mid Cap, Multi Cap, or Flexi Cap equity strategies is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in fundamental research, financial modelling, valuation, and portfolio construction.
• Excellent understanding of the Indian equity markets across sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to identify long-term investment opportunities and generate consistent risk-adjusted returns.
• CFA, CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
