Full Stack Software Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer based in India. This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve critical features across a modern SaaS platform serving a global user base. You’ll work across both frontend and backend systems, contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA specialists, and fellow engineers in a fast-paced, distributed environment. The role combines hands-on software development with meaningful input into architecture, engineering practices, and technical decisions. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to automation and AI-enabled capabilities. Accountabilities: - Design, develop, and maintain core platform features across frontend and backend systems. - Contribute to technical decisions involving architecture, scalability, performance, security, reliability, and data integrity. - Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, reliable, and high-quality user experiences. - Build clean, reusable, maintainable, secure, and testable code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, standups, and other agile engineering activities. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the application stack. - Help optimize application performance and contribute to automation, usability, developer experience, and engineering workflow improvements. - Support the development of scalable systems and platform capabilities for a global user base. Requirements: - 3–5 years of professional experience in full stack software development, preferably within SaaS or enterprise environments. - Strong experience with modern JavaScript technologies, particularly React and TypeScript, along with backend development using Node.

js or Python. - Solid understanding of RESTful services, API design, relational databases, and modern software development practices. - Demonstrated ability to develop scalable, maintainable, secure, and well-tested software. - Experience working in fast-paced startup environments and agile, collaborative engineering teams. - Comfortable working remotely in a distributed, async-first environment and able to manage responsibilities independently. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative approach to working across engineering, product, design, and QA. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience with technologies such as Next. js, Express, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows is valuable. - Nice-to-have experience includes HRIS, global payroll, workforce management, or other compliance-focused platforms; AWS; authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth and SSO; internationalization, role-based access control, or GDPR; and AI-enabled SaaS products.
