Full Stack PHP Laravel Developer

We are looking for a passionate and skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with third-party services.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Write clean, reusable, secure, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in application architecture, database design, and feature planning.
• Perform code reviews and maintain high code quality.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP and the Laravel Framework.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC Architecture.
• Experience with MySQL and Eloquent ORM.
• Hands-on experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with Composer and Laravel Artisan commands.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, middleware, and validation in Laravel.
• Basic knowledge of Linux server environments is an added advantage.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP Laravel development.
• Experience working on live web applications.
• GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing previous work will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Laravel Queues, Scheduler, Caching, or Redis.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, or AWS/DigitalOcean.
• Experience with payment gateway or third-party API integrations.
• Basic understanding of Vue.js or React is a plus.
