Full Stack Engineer (React/ Python) 7+ Years : Contract opportunity

Role Description The Full Stack Engineer (React/Python) will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications, working across front-end and back-end layers in a modern, cloud-based environment. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, contribute to code reviews, and maintain clean, testable code. This is a remote contract role for an experienced professional with 7+ years of full-stack development experience, contributing to AI-driven products and enterprise platforms.

Python and Fast API in the backend. Weightage would be 70% Front-end + 30% Back-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale complex web applications using Next.js, React and TypeScript
• Develop interactive document review and annotation interfaces
• Design scalable frontend architecture and state management
• Build and extend backend APIs in FastAPI with PostgreSQL
• Integrate the frontend with backend and AI/ML services
• Work with async processing (SQS workers), caching (Redis) and file storage (S3)
• Collaborate with AI/ML and backend teams to deliver intelligent user workflows
• Optimize performance for large datasets and real-time interactions

Must Have

4+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript

Experience with Next.js (App Router preferred)

Proven experience building complex, production-grade web applications

Strong understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API,

or similar)

Experience building or integrating REST APIs; Python/FastAPI preferred

Working knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

Solid grasp of frontend performance optimization (rendering, large

datasets, memoization, virtualization)

Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
