About the role

About the role Our own site and most client products pair a Next.js frontend with a Laravel backend. We are looking for an engineer who is comfortable on both sides and likes shipping complete features, from the database table to the screen the customer sees. What you will do • Build and maintain features across Next.js (App Router, TypeScript, Tailwind) and Laravel APIs. • Design clean database schemas and write migrations that are safe to run on a live system. • Build admin tools, forms, dashboards and integrations such as payments, email and messaging. • Write tests for the parts that matter, and review colleagues' code kindly and carefully. • Keep performance, accessibility and security in view as you build, not as an afterthought. • Help the team deploy reliably and fix problems quickly when something breaks in production. How we work • Small, reviewable pull requests over big-bang releases. • Written decisions: a short note on why we chose something beats a long meeting. • You will often talk to the person who will use the feature before you build it. You will join a compact engineering team, so your work will be visible and your opinions will count.

Requirements

Must have • 3+ years building production web applications. • Solid Laravel (Eloquent, validation, queues, policies) and MySQL. • Working React / Next.js with TypeScript. • Comfortable designing and consuming REST APIs. • Git, code review habits, and the ability to debug across the stack. Nice to have • Experience with static export or server-side rendering trade-offs in Next.js. • Payment gateway or WhatsApp / email API integrations. • Experience on shared hosting or small cloud servers, where resources are limited. • Writing automated tests with PHPUnit, Pest or Playwright.
