Full Stack Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Design and manage relational data models using JPA/Hibernate, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL.
• Write efficient SQL queries, optimize database performance, manage indexing, and support schema migrations.
• Develop modern, responsive, and type-safe frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Vite.
• Ensure clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code with appropriate unit and integration test coverage.
• Participate in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) activities and prepare comprehensive technical

documentation.

• Drive architecture discussions, technical design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, project teams, users, and testers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to TAT/SLA.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L3 support to the production team.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Ensure secure coding practices are followed across the team.
• Ensure appropriate Application Security (AppSec) and API security testing is completed for products and solutions.
• Ensure proper version control and release management practices are followed.
• Collaborate through Git-based workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and peer reviews.
• Take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Engineering degree

preferred.

• 7–9 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem, including:

o Spring MVC

o Spring Data

o Spring Security

• Strong understanding of JPA/Hibernate, including:

o Entity mapping

o Entity relationships

o Lazy/Eager loading

o Query optimization

• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and MSSQL, including:

o Database/schema design

o Indexing

o Joins

o Query optimization

o Performance tuning

• Strong frontend development experience with React and TypeScript, including hooks, component design, and state

management.

• Hands-on experience with Vite and modern frontend development practices.
• Strong understanding of REST API design, HTTP, and JSON.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative version-control workflows.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in designing scalable and secure enterprise applications.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong understanding of application and API security.
• Experience with production support, incident resolution, and performance optimization.
• Ability to balance hands-on engineering responsibilities with technical leadership and team management
