We are building our early technology team and looking for curious, capable developers who enjoy solving problems, experimenting, and bringing useful products to life.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Development Intern, you will contribute to building and improving technology at Acyntra, from early prototypes to working applications. Initial projects include platforms supporting VEDA, with opportunities to contribute to other Acyntra products as priorities develop.

You will work directly with the founder to understand requirements, explore implementation options, and deliver usable features across the frontend, backend, and database.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces, backend services and APIs.
• Design and work with databases, authentication, and role-based access.
• Translate product requirements and user feedback into practical features.
• Debug issues, test functionality, and improve application performance.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
• Use Git to manage changes and document technical decisions and setup instructions.
• Explore relevant technologies and AI tools, verifying generated code before using it.
• Communicate progress, raise blockers early, and contribute ideas to product development.

What We Are Looking For

• Hands-on experience building web applications through personal, academic or professional projects.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at least one frontend framework.
• Familiarity with a backend language or framework, APIs and relational or non-relational databases.
• Basic understanding of Git, authentication, testing and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to understand an existing codebase.
• Clear communication, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Ability to explain your code and learn unfamiliar tools independently.

Good to Have

• Experience deploying an application for real users.
• Exposure to Python, cloud hosting, Linux or application security.
• Interest in AI integrations, automation and product development.
• An understanding of how technical decisions affect user experience and business value.

Students and recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related fields are welcome. Applicants from other backgrounds with strong project evidence are also encouraged to apply.

Location and Terms

• On-site at IIT Guwahati, Guwahati, Assam.
• Stipend: ₹10,000 per month.

Stipend increase based on performance/compatibility in the first month.

• Duration: 3 months.
• Potential conversion to a full-time role based on performance, business requirements, and role availability.
