Full-Stack Developer Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Full Stack Developer Intern at Gudbuks, you will work across our backend services, databases and mobile application, contributing to features that directly impact how our users manage their money. You'll be paired with senior engineers, own well-scoped modules end-to-end, and be expected to use modern AI-assisted development workflows to move fast without compromising code quality. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Design, build and maintain backend microservices in Go (Golang), including REST/gRPC APIs powering core product features. • Model, query and optimize data in MongoDB and a relational/SQL database (e.g. PostgreSQL/MySQL) as appropriate to the use case. • Build and ship features in our Flutter mobile app for both Android and iOS, working closely with design and product. • Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews. • Use AI-assisted / agentic coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) for code generation, debugging, test writing and refactoring — and apply sound prompt engineering to get reliable output from them. • Collaborate in an agile environment — sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative delivery. • Debug production issues, write basic monitoring/logging hooks, and contribute to system reliability.
