Full Stack Developer Intern (AI + Frontend + Backend)

About FFP

Fit Future Program runs fitness assessments for schools and academies. We measure children on speed, agility, strength and power using sensor-based devices, then turn that data into clear reports for parents, coaches and schools. We are building the software behind this: data pipelines, automated report generation and, next, products that parents and schools use directly. You will work with the founder and see your work used by real schools.

The role

You will help build and ship FFP’s product end to end, from the data pipeline and backend to the web interface, adding AI where it makes the product better. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. Your work will be used in live school assessments.

What you’ll do

Build and improve web interfaces (dashboards, report viewers, data upload flows) for schools, coaches and parents

Develop backend services and APIs that process assessment data and generate reports

Work on our automation workflows, including data validation, scoring and PDF report generation

Build AI features, such as plain-language summaries of a child’s results, insights across a cohort, and data-quality checks

Handle messy real-world data (Excel exports, rosters) and make it reliable

Write clean, documented code and test your work before it reaches users

What we’re looking for

Working knowledge of a frontend framework (React / Next.js or similar), HTML and CSS

Backend experience in Node.js or Python, including building REST APIs

Basic database skills (SQL or a document DB)

Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (prompting, structured outputs, simple agent or automation flows)

Comfort with Git and deploying small apps

Ability to learn fast, ask good questions and finish what you start

Nice to have

Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make)

Experience with data handling in Excel/CSV, or with PDF generation

Interest in sports, fitness, education or child development

A GitHub profile or side projects we can look at

What you’ll get
