About the role

We are hiring a Frontend Developer to build and improve an e-commerce storefront on SAP Commerce (Hybris). The storefront is a Vue.js app that gets its data from SAP Commerce through REST (OCC) APIs.

You will build features together with backend teammates on both POQ (headless commerce) or dotnet platform for cloud processing and ship in short sprints.

Key responsibilities

You will build and maintain the customer-facing storefront.

• Build reusable components for storefront features such as navigation, product listings, search, bag and checkout.
• Connect the UI to SAP Commerce through OCC REST APIs.
• Support multiple sites, languages and currencies.
• Work with backend developers to deliver features within a sprint.
• Manage application state and routing so pages stay predictable as features grow.
• Build search and listing pages (facets, sorting, pagination) on top of SAP Commerce search.

Required qualifications

The core requirement is solid component-based frontend experience with a headless commerce backend. Direct Vue.js experience is preferred

• Strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS; TypeScript is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with a modern frontend framework Vue.js
• Experience consuming REST APIs in a web application.
• Understanding of headless architecture and how a frontend works with a separate backend.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Comfortable working with backend developers in an agile team.

Nice to have

• js with Vuex, Vue Router and vue-i18n.
• SAP Commerce experience (OCC APIs, Solr search, base sites) or another headless commerce platform.
• Angular and Spartacus experience.
• Cypress or other end-to-end testing tools, plus basic accessibility and performance knowledge.
