Freelance Trainer- Cyber Security

Role Description The Freelance Trainer – Cyber Security will deliver instructor-led training sessions to learners in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, focusing on core and advanced cybersecurity topics. This is a contract, on-site role responsible for planning and conducting classes, preparing training materials, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with industry standards. The trainer will customize content to meet institutional requirements, provide hands-on demonstrations, guide learners through practical projects, and support their skill development and employability. Day-to-day activities include session delivery, learner mentoring, tracking progress, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with EduGuru Solutions on course updates and workshop initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to explain core concepts clearly and practically.
• Hands-on expertise in Network Security and Application Security, including secure design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Malware Analysis or related areas such as threat detection, incident response, or vulnerability assessment.
• Prior experience as a technical trainer, coach, or instructor in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
• Ability to design structured training content, labs, and assessments tailored to college and university learners.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a learner-centric, inclusive teaching approach.
• Availability to work on-site in Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area on a contract/freelance basis and manage multiple batches or workshops as needed.
