Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Commerce Backend Developer with strong expertise in the SAP Commerce (Hybris) JSP-based Accelerator. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend development, customization, extension development, and integration within the SAP Commerce platform. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components on the SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform.
• Customize and enhance the JSP-based Accelerator framework.
• Develop and customize extensions using SAP Commerce architecture.
• Implement business requirements using Java, Spring Framework, and SAP Commerce APIs.
• Build and consume REST/SOAP web services for third-party integrations.
• Develop OCC APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Work on catalog management, product management, pricing, promotions, carts, checkout, and order management.
• Customize CMS components, workflows, and business processes.
• Configure Solr search and indexing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, business analysts, and solution architects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) development.
• Strong experience with the JSP-based Accelerator.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Strong understanding of SAP Commerce architecture and extension development.
• Experience in creating and customizing Hybris extensions.
• Hands-on experience with OCC APIs and web services.
• Experience with Impex, FlexibleSearch, CronJobs, and Business Process Engine.
• Good knowledge of Solr configuration and search customization.
• Experience with Backoffice, HMC, and SmartEdit.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge (MySQL/Oracle).
• Experience with Git and Maven.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
