Role Description The Fragrance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for overseeing fragrance development across AGOrganica’s product lines. This role involves collaborating with R&D, product development, and marketing teams to create and refine fragrance profiles that align with brand positioning and regulatory requirements. The Fragrance Manager will evaluate raw materials and fragrance bases, manage testing and sensory evaluations, and ensure consistency and stability of fragrances in finished products. Day-to-day tasks include briefing external and internal perfumers, reviewing technical documentation, maintaining fragrance libraries, and monitoring market trends and consumer preferences in personal care scents. The role also includes coordinating with manufacturing to support scale-up, troubleshooting fragrance-related issues in production, and contributing to innovation pipelines and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in fragrance development and evaluation, including sensory analysis, olfactory profiling, and familiarity with essential oils and aromatic ingredients.
• Candidates should possess skills in product formulation collaboration, working closely with R&D and manufacturing to integrate fragrances into diverse personal care products while maintaining performance and stability.
• Candidates should possess skills in quality, safety, and compliance, including understanding of IFRA guidelines, cosmetic regulations, documentation, and batch consistency checks.
• Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder communication and project management, such as cross-functional collaboration, client briefing, timeline management, and reporting.
• Candidates should possess skills in market and trend research, including monitoring consumer preferences, competitor benchmarking, and translating insights into new fragrance concepts.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, perfumery, or a related field, and prior experience in fragrance or cosmetic product development.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in natural and clean-label formulations, familiarity with private label manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced production environment in Noida.
