Fleet Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fleet Manager role based in Coimbatore.

The Fleet

Manager will oversee daily fleet operations, including Slot allocation, Rider scheduling, route planning, and utilization to support timely and cost-effective deliveries. The role involves monitoring fleet performance, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements, and coordinating maintenance to minimize downtime.

Manager will collaborate with operations, warehouse, and technology teams to optimize transportation processes, improve service levels, and support business growth. The role also includes tracking key operational metrics, analyzing performance data, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Fleet Operations and Fleet Management experience, including supervision of Riders and routes.
• Candidates should possess solid Operations Management skills focused on process optimization, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should be having good knowledge in recruiting new Riders
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data, managing KPIs, and making fact-based decisions.
• Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate on-ground teams, communicate clearly, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency with fleet management or logistics software and basic MS Excel or similar tools.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
