Our customers make real decisions based on what we deliver, so every number, name and deal has to be right.

The Role

Youll own the accuracy of the financial intelligence we deliver. Youll review deal activity, company financials and wealth signals, verify them against multiple sources, and make sure everything is correct and complete before it reaches our customers.

This is a finance and research role. It is not a data science or machine learning role. If you enjoy reading a funding announcement or an IPO prospectus more than training models, keep reading.

What youll do

Verify deals, including funding rounds, IPOs, M&A, block deals, stake sales and exits, for accuracy: amounts, valuations, parties involved and datesCross-check company and promoter information across sources such as MCA filings, exchange disclosures, DRHPs and newsCatch inconsistencies, missing details and anything that doesnt add upOrganise and clean data in Excel so its ready to useKeep up with Indias deal and capital markets activity, and flag what mattersHelp us tighten our review checklists and processes as we grow

What were looking for

BBA, BCom, BMS or Economics students or recent grads with a Finance specialisation (final-year students are welcome)A solid understanding of how deals work: what a funding round, IPO, OFS, merger or acquisition actually means, and the numbers behind itComfort reading annual reports, financial statements and exchange filingsStrong Excel skills: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, cleaning and reconciling messy dataExceptional attention to detail. You double-check things without being asked.Quick with numbers and comfortable working with large volumes of informationAn eye on the markets out of genuine interest, not just for your exams

Good to have

CFA Level 1, CA Inter or NISM certification, or currently pursuing oneBasic Python or SQL, or the willingness to learn it to automate repetitive workExperience in your college finance or investment club, or a stock market society

This role is probably not for you if your main goal is to build ML models or work on AI or data science projects. Wed rather say that upfront.
